National brands and local EPCs sell and install. Sealix does neither. This page explains which job you need first — so you do not pay a booking fee before you know whether the plant pays for your bill.

| Full-stack installer / EPC | Independent advisory (Sealix) | |
|---|---|---|
| Primary job | Design, sell, install, maintain | Read bill, subsidy, payback — then decide |
| Money from you | System price · often booking advance | ₹0 for the check on this site |
| Incentive | Close the sale | Tell you yes / maybe / not yet |

| When to call them first | You already want an end-to-end vendor | You still need the money to make sense |

Companies like SolarSquare and Freyr Energy (strong in Hyderabad and much of AP–TG) win because they package design, financing help, installation, subsidy paperwork and after-sales into one brand. If you have already decided to install and want one throat to choke, that model is rational.
Where it goes wrong for many homes is earlier: a free consultation becomes a booking advance before anyone has proven your bill and roof justify the plant. Public complaint patterns about advances and refunds are a signal to slow down — not a verdict on every customer. Our rule is simpler: know the money first.
An advisory check is designed around those three. An EPC pitch is designed around locking a survey date.
In Tirupati, Nellore, Vijayawada and Hyderabad you will also meet local vendors (portal-listed EPCs, city SEO sites, WhatsApp quotes). Headline ₹/watt is often lower than a national brand. That can be a good deal if scope, structure, portal registration and city service are real. Use how to choose an installer before you compare totals.
We are an independent advisory — and explicitly not a government scheme. We do not install, do not collect Aadhaar on this site, and do not take equipment margin. A free home check estimates size, PM Surya Ghar CFA, savings and payback from your bill. If it fits, a certified partner can survey. If it does not, we say so.
That is the opposite of racing Freyr’s experience-centre pitch or SolarSquare’s 3D design funnel. We are not trying to be them.

An installer designs, sells, installs and usually maintains the plant. An independent advisory like Sealix does none of that. We estimate whether rooftop solar is likely to pay for your bill and subsidy path, then connect a certified partner only if the numbers fit. We take no equipment margin.
National full-stack brands are strong when you already know you want an end-to-end vendor. If you are still unsure whether your bill justifies a plant, start with a bill check so you are not pressured into a booking advance before the economics are clear.
Yes. Sealix never installs. A positive check is a reason to get a roof survey from a registered vendor, not a substitute for one. Use our installer checklist when you compare quotes.
Often the headline price is lower, but scope and service presence decide the real cost. Compare capacity, inclusions, portal registration and warranty handling — not only the total. Cheap and incomplete is more expensive later.
