What the DHBVN e-solar portal is for

DHBVN runs solar net-metering connection work on its own system. The public entry most people mean by “e-solar DHBVN” or “SFA DHBVN” is sfa.dhbvn.org.in — login, apply, pay applicable charges, track by e-form number. It does not replace the national PM Surya Ghar registration where you select Haryana + DHBVN and claim central CFA.

Stages you will see (and what they mean)

  1. Payment pending / completeness — fee or documents missing
  2. Observation sent / resolved — DHBVN raised a query; nothing moves until answered on the portal
  3. Site verification — sub-division checks roof, load, transformer headroom
  4. Technical feasibility / permission — clearance to install within sanctioned rules
  5. Installation + meter / agreement steps — bidirectional meter and paperwork
  6. Commissioning feed into CFA — national portal status must still show a clean commissioning / redemption path — subsidy status

SFA vs central CFA

SFA is a Haryana state track with tight eligibility (income, sanctioned load, consumption bands — confirm live circulars). Central CFA under PM Surya Ghar is up to ₹78,000 for eligible 3 kW+ homes and is the default money most mid/high-bill Gurugram households should model. Do not sign a quote that assumes SFA unless you clearly qualify.

What is the DHBVN e-solar portal?

It is DHBVN’s online path for solar net-metering connection and related tracking for south Haryana (including Gurugram and Faridabad), commonly reached at sfa.dhbvn.org.in. Central CFA still starts on pmsuryaghar.gov.in.

Is SFA the same as PM Surya Ghar subsidy?

No. SFA is a Haryana state support track with tight income and load rules. PM Surya Ghar central CFA (up to ₹78,000) is separate. Most higher-bill Gurugram homes plan on central CFA only unless they clearly meet SFA eligibility.

I am on UHBVN — do I use sfa.dhbvn.org.in?

No. UHBVN uses its own solar connection portal (solarconnection.uhbvn.org.in). Read the licensee name on your bill. Wrong Nigam selection stalls feasibility.
