Vendors and blogs often write TSSPDCL (Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited). Official bills and the national portal listing commonly show TGSPDCL. Both names point at the southern distribution company that serves Hyderabad and the southern districts — not TGNPDCL in the north. When you register on pmsuryaghar.gov.in, pick the Telangana southern DISCOM option that matches your bill header; do not invent a third company.

TGSPDCL bills often show a Unique Service Connection (USC) or long consumer string. Portal registration must match that string character-for-character. Truncating zeros, dropping a district prefix, or typing the old account number from a migrated connection are common reasons the DISCOM API returns blank data and the file never moves.
If sync fails: refresh from the portal’s validation path, photograph the bill header, and retry — do not invent a “close enough” number. Wrong DISCOM (TGNPDCL vs TGSPDCL) is the other restart-level error.
The other quiet subsidy-staller is a name that does not match across documents — Aadhaar says one spelling, the electricity record another, the bank account a third, or the bill still carries a maiden name.
